Overseeding
Overseeding is a method of planting additional grass seed over an existing lawn. This technique helps to create a denser and healthier lawn by spreading new seeds over the existing grass. It fills in bare or thin spots, promotes a thicker turf, and rejuvenates an aging lawn. It also strengthens a thin or sparse lawn, improves its appearance and health, and corrects issues like weeds, pests, and diseases. Lawns can become thin, patchy, and prone to these issues over time. Overseeding can increase the density of the grass, make it more resilient, and enhance the lawn’s overall quality and appearance. It is an excellent way to maintain a healthy lawn and avoid costly replacements. By introducing new seeds, you can improve the grass’s strength, appearance, and longevity, while minimizing the risk of weeds, pests, and diseases.
Planting is usually done in the spring or fall and is recommended after our mechanical aeration or liquid aeration services to help areas of your yard that appear thin or have sustained damage.
